The everyday problem
A technician reaches a site with similar-looking chambers, handwritten labels and several job references. Typing a code from memory or calling the office to identify the asset adds handovers before the work even begins.

Help the person in the field identify the recorded asset, check the job reference and leave a verification trail the office can review.
QR & asset verification
A technician reaches a site with similar-looking chambers, handwritten labels and several job references. Typing a code from memory or calling the office to identify the asset adds handovers before the work even begins.
Give recorded assets readable labels. Use the label and asset identity to find the right record, then compare the job’s configured expected value at START, CASSETTE or FINAL verification. XANDER records MATCH, MISMATCH or UNVERIFIED rather than treating every scan as a successful check.
For the technician: less code transcription and a repeatable way to check the selected asset against the job. A mismatch is a reason to clarify the assignment before proceeding.
For the supervisor: review the recorded stage, expected value and scan result alongside the job. Missing or damaged labels can follow an explicit bypass request instead of an undocumented phone instruction.
For the company: more consistent asset identification and a reviewable verification trail can reduce avoidable clarification, rework and record correction. Labels and job expectations must be maintained correctly for that value to materialize.
Example: the job expects MH-015, but the entered label is MH-051. The result is MISMATCH. The team checks the asset and assignment; scanning something is not, by itself, proof that the correct location was selected.
Measure time to identify the asset, clarification calls, mismatch frequency and repeat visits attributable to identification errors. Compare similar jobs before and after rollout.
Benefits describe intended operational value. No measured saving or guaranteed return is implied.QR / WORKFLOW
Synthetic example. No camera access, asset lookup or job update.
No. The inspected check compares a submitted value with the configured job value. A correct label, appropriate permissions and operational checks are still needed; this is not location attestation.
Resolve the identity from the authorized asset record and follow the exception process. The inspected source includes a reason-bearing bypass request and a Manager decision; a missing scan should not silently be treated as a match.
No. Asset label identity and the value expected by the job must be aligned. A missing expectation returns UNVERIFIED. Label lookup, camera capture and job verification are distinct steps.
